English for Professionals

The ALC offers regular courses for business professionals as well as customized courses for institutional clients. Our regular business course is divided into Intermediate and Advanced levels. Each level is divided into three parts, each lasting for one term or 30 course hours. In total, there are 6 courses of 30 hours each.

The business courses focus on practical “life skills” such as writing a resume or curriculum vitae (CV), designing cover letters, corresponding with potential employers or business partners, developing a business plan, etc. The program is project based and each course has at least one major project involving team-work, public speaking, and other skills critical to success in today’s international work environment.
